Taylor Davidson
Taylor grew up in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. She attended Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina where she earned her degree in Music Performance with an emphasis on Alto Saxophone in 2017. She intended on becoming a band director, but learned about instrument repair while working for a music shop during summers between classes. She decided to attend Minnesota State College Southeast Technical in Red Wing, Minnesota where she earned her diploma in Band Instrument Repair in 2018. After graduating, she moved to Georgia to work for Big Note Music, a mobile repair company. She later moved to Menchey Music in Pennsylvania, went back to South Carolina to work for Musical Innovations, then moved to Palen Music in Arkansas before landing in Lafayette, Louisiana at Acadiana Instrument Repair. Taylor has a passion for music and repair. She is always looking to improve her repair skills and bring joy to others through her work. Repairing musical instruments gives her the ability to be a part of each musician’s journey and help them achieve success by making sure their instrument is cared for meticulously.
